This is an assignment that is based on a story called The Most Dangerous Game. The story is about Rainsford, a hunter who gets trapped on an island where a man named General Zaroff lures people in to hunt them. Rainsford must survive and eventually defeat Zaroff. I think I did a good job by answering the questions clearly and showing that I understood the story. I also discussed the metaphors and similes in my own words, which helped me demonstrate my understanding of figurative language. However, some of my answers did not include enough detail, and I often used informal language instead of sounding more professional. I also made a few small grammar mistakes that could have been avoided. Moving forward, I want to focus on adding more details to my responses, choosing stronger and more precise words, and expanding my ideas when writing about the theme and mood of the story.
